Best ways to make money in Forza Horizon 4
Many new players in Forza Horizon 4 need a lot of money, to be able to buy the cars and houses they want. I'll give you some tips to make it easier.
1 Wheelspins
You can get free Wheelspins basically for everything, level up, horizon live, online series. From every Wheelspin you can win:

If you win a car you already own, you can sell it instantly for half of what it worth in Auto Show (10k-5m CR). There is no guarantee that you will make more money on the auction than instantly selling it. There has been many times when I went to auction to sell a car thinking I will make more than 200k and ended up selling for 20k. So think twice before you decide to auction or instantly sell your car.

2 Auction house
There are two ways to earn money in the Auction House:
- Selling your cars - At the auction house you can sell certain cars for up to 20 million CR. I recommend auctioning cars for less than the maximum amount because it increases your chances of selling. For example, if you sell a car whose currently lowest price is 10 million CR, and there are many offers, it is worth listing it for 9.5 million, a small loss. With your price being the lowest you have a good chance of a quick sale. If you are the only person selling a specific car you can list at the maximum price. To sell a car for 20 million, the car needs to have tuning or painting work completed by a level 20 player.
- Buy Cheap, Sell High - A method of earning money for strategic players. It requires patience and getting to know the current prices for the selected model. You have to choose a model and analyze the minimum prices at auction and the buy now prices. If you decide that the car is worth it, bid at the last minute. If you win at a fraction of the buy now price, there is potential for instant profit if you list slightly under the minimum buy now price.
3 Racing
The easiest and most obvious method for making money is racing. But the purse is only 5-10k for one race?! Don't worry, you can check some popular circuits for better results:
The first and most popular one is the Goliath race. One lap gives you ~40k CR without any bonuses and it only takes 7-10min. 50 laps can give you ~10mln CR but it will take about 8h to finish the whole race. So try with 5 laps or less. This gives you 1mln in less than an hour.
The second race is the Falconloop from the LEGO DLC, that you can buy separately and it is included in the ultimate version. You can make 50 laps in ~25 minutes and you will earn up to 150k CR.
The third race is a custom race on the highway. 10 laps can be made in 27-30min and you can earn about 150k CR.
You can select any other circuit and increase the number of laps from the default setting, if you don't have the Goliath race unlocked and the Lego DLC. There is a lot of time lost by loading and splash screens on shorter races.
You earn more points by turning off traction control, ABS, etc.
4 Perks
Every car has its own perks that can be bought with earned skill points. This can be done in the "cars" tab of the main menu.
The number of mastery perks depends on the type of car and ranges 8-16.
When you buy new perks, you can get experience points, wheelspins, car upgrades, or money.
The number of credits depends on how expensive and rare the car is.
It is always best to check the cars perks as soon as you get it, to see what perks are outstanding.
The best cars to get money from perks are the 1982 Porsche 911 turbo 3.3 or the 2005 Honda NSX-R. Each of them costs 150k, and you can get 300k from perks (150k plus for 19 skill points). The full list of cars that gets you free cars and cash prizes is available here:
5 Online adventures
If you are tired of repeating races and trading cars it is worth playing Online Adventures. Ranked adventures give you 50-130k CR and up to 35k experience depending on how long the adventure takes and how successful you are. There are several modes available and you don't need to drive from point to point to start the next round.
